Alamo Car Rental

Rented in Jaco for a day trip. No issues whatsoever. They opened on time, the car was ready, and the price and insurance cost was exactly as quoted. The deposit was about $500 USD and was promptly refunded. Their prices are a bit higher than Economy, and that's probably why they had availability and Economy didn't. The price with full insurance for a 24 hr rental was $166 USD, which is a little on the high side and the only reason I give 4 rather than 5 stars. Would rent from them again without hesitation.

We live in Playa Hermosa and needed a 4x4 to go to Nicoya for a week. Carlos at Alamo was really helpful and proposed us a Jimny which we loved and might buy one now ! The rental was easy and fast, I would definitely go back to Alamo at Jaco !

I picked up a rental vehicle from here and had a GREAT experience! I did do the online checkin prior, which probably made it easier for me, but the staff were awesome and I was in and out with my vehicle in about 20 minutes. The vehicle was clean, reliable, and perfect for the steep roads and dirt tracks that are common in CR. Every time I come back to this country I'll be renting a vehicle from Alamo!!
