About
Ambrosia is a sidewalk café on Jacó's main street, made for lingering over coffee and watching the town go by — the covered seating keeps you dry when the rain rolls in. Regulars single out the espresso drinks and a bright, lime-forward green juice, and Joel's warm, chatty service comes up by name. Pair a cup with the banana cake.

Best cup of coffee we’ve had since we’ve been in CR. I had an americano black & hubby had a cappuccino (he did add caramel). We split a piece of banana cake that was also amazing! Great place to sit outside and people watch, too!! It was raining when we went and were able to sit outside under the cover and stay dry while we enjoyed our coffee.
Excellent coffee spot on the sidewalk on the Main Street of Jaco.
Ambrosia Cafe – Where Drinks Steal the Spotlight Came in for a Flat White and left with a green drink I’ll be dreaming about for weeks. Not sure what it was called, but it had fresh ingredients, lime, and just the right mix of tart and sweet—like a margarita’s wholesome cousin. My wife? She loved her Flat White but might have loved the cup it came in even more. It’s a little concerning how much she talked about that cup. Great drinks, cool vibe, and a place that somehow makes you feel trendier just for being there. Highly recommend stopping by—your taste buds will thank you.
