About
Right on Jaco beach, with ocean views from the balconies, private rooftop access, and modern units that come well equipped — in-unit laundry, fully stocked kitchens, even paddleboards. Because the condos are individually owned, layout and décor vary. Two things to know: customer service leans heavily on AI/chat, and neighboring construction has meant early-morning noise for some guests.

Excellent location in Jaco, right on Jaco beach that is just a few steps from beach with beautiful views of the ocean and pools from various balconies and private rooftop access for views of ocean and sunset. Rooms are modern, tastefully decorated, comfortable beds, well thought out amenities, fully stocked kitchen with utensils, laundry in the unit and small touches like paddle boards, flotation noodles etc. Would love to stay there when we visit Jaco again.
Hard to get help when you have an issue because they rely HEAVILY on AI for their customer service, but overall the experience was good! Decent prices, good location, good rooms with strong AC (the furniture could be comfier). Management found and returned my new hiking shoes that had wandered off my porch in the middle of the night, hallelujah!
Anything but Pura Vida! We were initially planning to rent a place in Jacó Beach for the next few months. While the beach itself has potential and it’s nice being close to the ocean, it’s unfortunately littered with garbage. I’ve been going out to clean it up, but that doesn’t seem to be a common practice here. Ultimately, we’ve decided to back out of the rental—mainly due to issues with the HOA. The board is completely over the top, enforcing rules that feel more like personal power trips than genuine community standards. There are signs posted that say things like, “This is a family-friendly place—anything un-family-friendly will not be accepted,” yet one of the board members, Brianna made negative comments about our kids’ behaviour. Sure, our kids can be a little loud sometimes, but they’re just normal children and even if they were not her criticism would still be extremely inappropriate. She was very clearly always drunk by the pool, my guess would be she probably has very little contact with her grandchildren. Bahia Encantada has signs up saying that it’s a family friendly environment, but I’m pretty Sure, we’re just being straight up discriminated against because we have children with us. Brianna also initially told us it would be fine to have a service dog stay with us— ( As the rules clearly state is OK) a dog that belongs to a U.S. veteran. But after being scolded by someone above her, she denied ever saying it. The whole situation was handled incredibly poorly. It’s especially disappointing given the lack of appreciation shown toward someone who served their country—it came off as entitled and tone-deaf. To make things worse, my husband has now been sitting at the gate for over an hour because they’re saying our guest can’t come in—she’s supposedly not on a list we didn’t even know we needed. They’re trying to contact the owner of the unit we rented, but the way it’s being handled is anything but efficient. The whole environment feels like a retirement community run by people who thrive on power trips—except it’s mostly older men with much younger women, probably because their wife’s are back in the states and this is where they go to get away from them. There is one genuinely kind and helpful security guard, and that’s about the only positive thing I can say. Between the loud, ongoing construction being told music is too loud, despite the sounds of the construction, the HOA drama, and the unwelcoming atmosphere despite having paid to be there, it’s no surprise the owner is trying to sell. It’s a shame, because it could have been a great place—if it were managed better.
