Beach Break Resort

This hotel is acceptable if you know what to expect; unfortunately, we didn’t. Pros: Convenient beach access, affordable pricing, and a reasonably clean pool. Cons: The property is very outdated and offers minimal service. The room lacked basic amenities like shampoo or shower gel—only a couple of soaps and plastic cups were provided. It’s suitable only for low-maintenance adults. We stayed for two nights and did not receive any housekeeping service. The hotel appears to be understaffed. The receptionist was polite and tried to help whenever we asked, but it’s clear that providing proactive service is not part of the operation. Jaco itself also feels quite dated, and the beach is nothing special. If, like us, you’re just passing through on the way to Manuel Antonio, one night is more than enough. There’s also no real need to book in advance. You may even get a better rate by booking last-minute or same day.

This property really needs an update and a deep clean ! It's proximity to the beach is wonderful. (a positive) Minimally, while there is a coffee maker in the room, could 1 morning coffee be included since there is no restaurant? How would one know to bring coffee? The absolute worst part of the stay.....no black out curtains/blinds and the multiple ropes of hanging bulbs were left on all night. Therefore the room remained bright for the duration of the night.

A convenient mid‑range stay in Jacó for our first night in Costa Rica. Great location with direct beach access and free parking. The pools and common areas are well maintained, though the rooms feel a bit outdated. We had an issue with the worn‑out beds, but the receptionist responded quickly and sent someone to fix it. Overall, a practical stopover, decent value for money, works for a short stay.
