Absolutely phenomenal place. They were very welcoming, very local experience and the price was unbeatable. We spent 8000 colones for 2 dishes and 2 drinks with tip included because they were too good. They were very attentive to the portions, the rice portions were sized for the person and they even asked if we wanted more. The food was delicious, don't let the appearance fool you.
The sign says they open at 7 but in reality they didn't open until 7:30, must be the Latin American time clock! The food was delicious! We each had a typical breakfast, mine with toast and tea, and my boyfriend's with a tortilla and coffee. He also added bacon. I think our meal came to around $11 or $12 USD total. Absolutely recommend this place for good food at a regular price! I hope it stays that way!
We come eat here every time we come to Jaco. The owner is courteous. The tables are always clean. The food is great with generous portions. Would absolutely come back.
