Clarita's Beach Bar & Resort

The food is great! Expect to wait about an hour and a half to eat it though. Also pretty expensive, but I think that’s justified for the location. Awesome ocean views! But probably would not go again since there are plenty of other restaurants nearby which are much quicker. We ordered an appetizer and it never came, had to remind the waiter!

It's a very relaxed bar and restaurant right on the beach front with excellent views of the sea. We were filling in time before checking into a hotel so stopped for a drink but ended up having a meal as well. There was a guitarist playing and singing the whole time we were there. It was a very pleasent couple of hours with genuinely good food and some good local craft ales.

I did not stay at the resort, only ate at the restaurant, but the location was beautiful, the service was friendly and personable, and the food was absolutely amazing! We had fish tacos, chicken tacos, Casado, flan, and cocktails. Everything was seasoned perfectly and fresh ingredients. Highly recommend! Bonus experience…we saw a mother turtle burying her eggs on the beach as we were walking to our car. We let the restaurant staff know and they came out to help and were going to call the conservation group to protect the area. Stunning natural scenery!
