Croc’s Resort & Casino

Everyone was so kind and professional. Ariel and Keran from the coffee shop were especially kind and welcoming. This was our first time in Costa Rica but one of the many trips we’ve taken and we can’t recommend it enough. From the food, pool, easy access to the beach and other locations, Crocs is the way to go. We got a wonderful price on our suit for the first part of our stay but then decided to stay an extra night due to the kind treatment and beautiful location. Only thing I would love to see different is a larger Non-alcoholic beverage selection. But all in all, we will certainly be coming back! Also, pro tip, if you know any locals and are wondering the best place to stay when in town, they offer low rates for guests to join you in your room and at the hotel. The money spent on the day passes goes towards casino play!

Rooms were clean, staff was nice. The sliding glass door in the room had no lock and was difficult to move. The onsite restaurants and coffee shop had good food and coffee but we're pricey, as expected. There is no beach service or chairs on the sand. Expect services to end at the pool. The pool hot tub water temperature was the same as the pool. There is no outside fire pit to enjoy at night. I was chastised for bringing my own cooler down to the pool. There's a casino on site however I didn't participate and gambling. Uber is readily available for local drives.

I would’ve loved to give 5 stars but honestly the service kinda went y down the longer we stayed and the busier it got. The staff there is great an md friendly but that La Stanza (supposedly the “nicer” restaurant) where we had the Valentine Day Dinner package was lacking in service AND food. Been better off at the pool or inside bar. Just don’t expect quick service (like towel requests and such). But overall we did have a great time. I mean, it is paradise so….
