About
A family-focused hotel (not a party one) with multiple pools including a whirlpool, hangout areas with foosball and books, and 24-hour reception, set minutes from both downtown and Jacó beach yet still quiet. Wildlife wanders the grounds. Rooms are dated, so set expectations accordingly — and it helps to see the room before you book.

Perfect location!! Stayed here 3 nights. Minutes from downtown and Jacó beach. The pools are wonderful, they have a hangout area with foosball, books, etc. There was someone at reception 24/7. Yes rooms were a bit outdated but didn't take away from my stay. I had no complaints about cleanliness. Bed was comfy. Safe in the room, AC and TV. My AC leaked the first night and they were quick to fix it. some rooms have a full kitchen and the fridge was greatly appreciated. Many relaxing places to hangout on the property. so much wildlife nearby.
I had an outstanding stay at this hotel and cannot recommend it enough. From the moment I arrived, the service was exceptional. What truly made a difference was the personalized attention from the manager, who was incredibly professional and made sure every detail of my stay was perfect. It’s rare to see such dedicated leadership on the floor, ensuring that guests feel truly valued. The property is spotlessly clean you can tell they have very high standards for hygiene and maintenance in every corner. Additionally, the location is excellent, making it easy to get around and enjoy the best of the area. The entire staff was friendly and efficient, but the overall management and the manager's personal touch really set this place apart. I will definitely be back!
We had to leave and go to another hotel after staying here a night. The place was filthy. It needed updating (repainted, new furniture, general refurbishing) at least 10 or more years ago. But it was also just dirty. We stayed at a family apartment. There was lots of mildew. Bugs and worms even throughout the apartment. And the AC unit in the room leaked. The staff were very friendly but the owner should really consider shutting the place for a month and doing a head to toe renovation. I wasn’t expecting the Marriott. I understood it would be “cheap and cheerful “ sort of thing but the place was filthy. I’ve stayed at cleaner and cheaper Holiday Inns in Costa Rica and better hostels. I highly recommend not booking this place or you’ll end up like we did scrambling to find somewhere else at the last minute and paying twice for accommodation.
