Overall, we had a fantastic stay! Though some of the rooms were a little on the smaller side, it didn't take away from our experience. Angelica, Joshua, and Ramon provided excellent communication and were quick to help with anything we needed, making our trip very special. We look forward to staying here again!

Angelica is a super front desk host! Always asking if everything is okay, and wanting to ensure things are perfect. Room service cleaning is excellent! Everyday the rooms are spotless. The entire staff is friendly from Ramon to all the bar and restaurant staff, everyone always says hello, and asks if you need anything. Overall location is awesome! Right on beach where you can spot whales, to a short walk into Jaco, if you want to try the bars & restaurants. Very peaceful & relaxing location. I highly recommended!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Hotel Zócalo is an absolute gem! We had an incredible stay here and honestly didn’t want to leave. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel completely at home – warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. The rooms are spotless, beautifully designed with local touches, and super comfortable. Waking up to the sounds of tropical birds and sipping coffee on the balcony with views of lush greenery was pure paradise. The atmosphere throughout the hotel is peaceful and relaxing – perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. There’s a gorgeous little pool, delicious locally-sourced breakfast, and great communal spaces to connect with other travelers or just enjoy the calm. The location is fantastic: close enough to beaches, nature, and activities, but still feels like a tranquil hideaway. This place captures everything we love about Costa Rica – nature, culture, and warm hospitality. We can’t recommend Hotel Zócalo enough. Easily one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had.
