About
A quiet lodge at the end of a dead-end street, wrapped in shade-giving vegetation with a pool at its center — the calm, away-from-the-crowds feel is what guests consistently name. It's pet-friendly with a resident dog and cat, and set back from downtown and the beach. Rooms are dated and vary, so it suits travelers who prize quiet over polish.

Unless they updated their rooms over the years I wouldn't put my dog up in a room. The shower area had a hole in the wall that you could see outside, the staff was very rude, room looked nothing like the picture. Their "breakfast" was outside, bugs crawling over everything. Granted it was years ago, never again.
First I got an immediate upgrade to a larger room. The property at the end of a dead end street was quiet and secure. It is small and cozy with lots of vegetation providing shade by the rooms and the pool. My room was clean, the A/C worked fine, water was warm in the shower. Very limited TV channels and nothing in English. I had to leave before breakfast so no comment. Final note at the price this is where I will stay every time I am in Jaco. Lindo lugar, tranquilo, buena aire, piscina, segura. lo me encantó
This is a hidden gem! The rooms were neat and clean and laid out quite nicely. The staff were very friendly-including the dog and cat! The only drawback for me was that it was quite a way to the bus stop when leaving (but I could have taken a cab,I suppose) It was just far enough from downtown that it made for quiet relaxing times by the pool. Oh, and I almost forgot to mention, the neighbors have a rooster or two, so you never have to worry about sleeping too late, haha. All in all, it was a safe, clean place to stay. I highly recommend it!
