About
A brand-new adults-only boutique hotel right on the Jacó beachfront, where owner Nicola's attention to detail shows in the design. Oceanfront rooms wake you to the surf, and the on-site coffee bar, restaurant and bar draw praise for real, well-made cocktails and fresh food. Rooms can run small, but the vibe is relaxed and thoughtful.

We had a fantastic experience at Lia Hotel in Jaco. The rooms were spacious, modern, and thoughtfully designed, with every amenity feeling top-notch and well cared for. Everything was spotless, and the attention to detail really stood out. The location is perfect — easily accessible and right on the beach, which made getting around and enjoying the ocean incredibly convenient. The pool was excellent: clean, very well maintained, and a lovely spot to relax poolside after a day at the beach. They also have amazing coffee and a great bar menu. The bartender does a fantastic job and really elevated our evenings. What truly made the stay memorable was the staff. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and very responsive whenever we needed anything. A special shout-out to Nick, the owner, who went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. That level of personal attention is rare and very much appreciated. Overall, this is a very well-run and well-maintained hotel in Jaco. Highly recommended — we would definitely stay here again!
Hotel Lia is a beautiful new boutique hotel with a really relaxed, vibey feel. It’s stylish without trying too hard, and it feels intimate and welcoming from the moment you walk in. The staff were genuinely kind and attentive. Karla at the front desk was especially helpful — she took the time to guide us with great recommendations around the city and made everything easy for us. You can tell she really cares. The food was also very good — fresh, well-prepared, and high quality. Overall, it was just a really nice stay with good energy, good people, and great service. We’d definitely come back.
If you don't want to stay in the big hotel just outside town. This it probably the best local hotel in town. It's clean bright. I would recommend getting the bigger rooms we stayed for 3 nights in the larger rooms with a terraced area. Very nice modern rooms.ask at reception for a hair dryer. All the staff where welcoming and would help if you needed anything. I even got a free cookie made my day! There is a coffee bar you can get coffee anytime I really liked the vanilla iced coffee! The pool was clean and lots of beds to relax. Breakfast was fresh and staff where Always there to help. It is street parking the security staff will do what they can to help so do ask. The beach I think is a local beach big beautiful sunsets. The rivers come down from the mountain they are clean they are brown because of the silt they take with them from the rain forest there is no smell other than the sea it's the Atlantic! In all a wonderful stay on our trip thank you for your hospitality.
