First of all, this place is very nicely air conditioned. Huge relief coming in from the heat! Then, to be delighted by the gracious kind service, and the excellent food. The reviews are all true. A must try in Jacó! Lots of vegetarian options and enough for meat eaters as well.

Dining at Little India in Jacó was an absolute delight. It’s a standout experience that truly reminds me of home food from India, providing a warm, comforting break from the usual beach fare. The entire experience was defined by their wonderful combination of authentic home style food with great service. From the moment we arrived, we experienced truly homely service—the kind that makes you feel immediately welcome. 🍽️ The Food Experience Every dish we ordered was prepared with care and skill by Chef Mohan, showcasing real authenticity and rich flavor: Tandoori Vegetables with Paneer: A fantastic start. The vegetables were perfectly charred and tender, complemented by the incredibly soft, fresh paneer. Malai Chicken Sheek Kebab: This was a favorite—super juicy and flavorful, with a delicate, creamy texture that melted in the mouth. Paneer Bhurji: A robust, flavorful scramble of fresh paneer and spices that was deeply satisfying. Chicken Curry & Goat Curry: These were the highlights of the main course. Both curries were rich, aromatic, and tasted genuinely home style, with spices expertly layered and balanced. Naan: Freshly baked and pillowy soft—the perfect essential side for soaking up the delicious gravy from the curries. 🌟 Exceptional Service by Javed and Chef Mohan The quality of the food is matched only by the dedication of the team. Our Server, Javed, was outstanding. He was attentive, friendly, and ensured we had everything we needed throughout the meal, contributing significantly to the feeling of homely service. And of course, the authentic, delicious taste we craved is all thanks to Chef Mohan and his kitchen expertise. We were looking for a place to eat on our last day in Costa Rica. My husband and I saw this place and decided to give it a try and I wish I had sooner because the food is just AMAZING! The service was also really good, we felt very welcomed before we even opened the door. When we come back to Costa Rica we will definitely come back to this amazing restaurant.
