Their burgers are hands-down the best I’ve ever had in the country—juicy, perfectly seasoned patties made fresh, piled high with creative toppings, and served on buns that hold everything together flawlessly. I went for one of their signature inventive burgers, and it was massive, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The portions are generous, the ingredients super fresh (local vibes all the way), and paired with their sides, it’s a total winner. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, with friendly staff who make you feel like a regular, plus that essential AC break from the tropical heat. Whether you’re a burger fanatic or just need a break from tacos and casados, Locals Grill delivers the goods every time. I’ve been back multiple times on trips to Costa Rica, and it never disappoints. Pura Vida perfection—highly recommend!

Awesome restaurant! The best mojito I have ever had. My husband got a burger and it was delicious. I got a blackened fish and rice bowl and it was fresh and tasty. The service was excellent and we loved sitting outside. Absolutely recommend!

We’ve had breakfast here and now dinner. The burgers are the best we’ve had in Jaco. Kona Burger and Mushroom and Swiss. The drinks were amazing! We ordered a spicy margarita and Moscow mule. The burgers were grilled just how we ordered them and so delicious. Not the best picture but I am telling you these were stacked high and so flavorful. The staff are very well trained and the place is run so well. We love Locals and will be returning!
