Lone Star

We were originally going to go to Hartley Ranch for a nice steak dinner. But we don’t have a palette that requires a $100 steak. So we switched gears and went into Lone Star on a whim. The service was friendly and attentive. The food was delicious. My partner got the ribeye with a baked potato and onion rings. I got the beef tenderloin with a baked potato and pico de gallo. My partner said everything he had was delicious! My beef tenderloin was perfectly cooked and tender. Their chimichurri was very fresh and yummy. The baked potatoes were out of this world! I tried my partners onion rings, I’m not usually a fan but theirs were perfectly cooked and yummy. The pico was fresh and flavorful. I don’t normally leave restaurant reviews, but it tore me up to see a place with such a yummy, affordable dinner and kind, attentive staff have a lower rating than I feel is deserved! Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a delicious steak for a reasonable price!

Moved to Jaco a month ago and since then have wanted to try Lone Star. Yesterday was my birthday so decided it was a great time to check it out. Service was excellent, I think our server's name was Bennet(?). Very attentive and friendly. I had the NY strip and it was excellent! We will be back.

The atmosphere of the place is that of a sports bar but they still play salsa music. The service of the girls excellent and friendly. The food, the ny steak, had a good flavor and was very soft. The starter chill con carne is a good size
