Matt’s waterfall hike was absolutely incredible! It was the perfect mix of adventure, challenge, and fun. We explored for over four hours and jumped into the waterfalls to cool off, which was amazing. Matt’s knowledge of the rainforest and the entire ecosystem made the experience even more special. He knew exactly how to push my older son while being so supportive and helpful with my youngest. We had the best time and couldn’t have asked for a better day. Thank you, Matt—Pura Vida!

Matty was incredibly helpful from the moment I contacted him to help me plan activities while in Costa Rica. The private waterfall tour that my group did with him and another guide was amazing! We enjoyed tasting edible plants, viewing wildlife, climbing and swimming in the waterfalls. The best part was freshly cut up pineapple when the hike was wrapping up. After the hike, he suggested eating at Taco Taco in Jaco - most delicious tacos!! The Tico food tour was also delicious! We all got to try several different kinds of foods and then on to the next restaurants. We ended our evening at a coffee spot for dessert and coffee. I told Matty that it was also my daughter’s birthday and he bought candles ahead of time and we all sang happy birthday. It made the tour even more special! The chocolate tour he arranged for us was phenomenal. It was a small chocolate farm and we saw the production of chocolate from start to finish. The tour was hands on and was awesome! Another day, he had arranged an all day deep-sea fishing tour for 4 of us. The captain and his crew were great! The first fish of the day we caught was a 400lb Marlin. My daughter caught a 10’ sailfish and was ecstatic! Matty also arranged a day cruise with Costa Cat to Tortuga Island. This was a blast! On our last evening in Costa Rica, he arranged last minute for a chef to cook dinner for us. The chef knocked it out of the park! The food was amazing! Throughout our stay, Matty made sure we were satisfied with every tour and experience that we had. He will make sure you are happy with everything.
