About
The budget grocery pick in Jacó, shoppers call it the cheapest in town for covering the basics, with in-store staff who go out of their way to help. Don't come looking for specialty items; for those you'll want a bigger market. Checkout can be slow with too few cashiers, so build in a little patience for the lines.

There should be more active cashiers at any given time (an assessment I arrived at on my third visit), but this is otherwise the best grocery store in town.
Had everything we needed much cheaper than the other stores in the area. It took forever to get an item scanned, but it got scanned in the end and everything was good. The Potatos and Chayotoe was also great.
This has become our favorite market but, it's still getting a 3. The check out clerks are horrid. The in store staff is amazing - they go above and beyond. Decent prices. I've only had one checkout person that was nice.
