Omg you have to stop at this shop, so refreshing!!!!!!! I recommend trying that baileys frosty cocktails. These girls are a vibe!!!! The music is amazing and there’s AC!!!!! They found out it was my friends birthday and brought her out a birthday shot and candle so sweet!!!!!

Cool little spot with the hottest Columbian bartenders. Highly recommended for a night out as even the patrons were chill and friendly.

There’s something great about places that don’t try to be polished or curated for tourists. They just are what they are. That’s exactly why I love Medellín Cocktails. It’s a little slice of Colombia tucked into Jacó, created by a Medellín transplant who clearly understood there were plenty of places for fancy dinners, but not enough places for late-night comfort food, loud conversations, cold drinks, and that familiar Colombian energy. The stars here are the hot dogs. Proper steamed Colombian-style hot dogs loaded with whatever toppings you can imagine. Sauces, crunch, sweetness, salt, chaos. The kind of food that somehow tastes even better late at night after a few drinks and a long conversation. I’m partial to the hot dogs, but the slushy-style cocktails deserve their own mention. Cold, strong, fun, and exactly right for Jacó weather. And yes, of course there’s aguardiente and a full bar because no Colombian-inspired spot would feel complete without it. What I appreciate most is that the place feels authentic. Not corporate “Latin vibe” authentic. Real authentic. The kind that comes from somebody building the kind of place they personally wanted to hang out in. Jacó can sometimes feel like a collision between surf town, nightlife, expats, locals, and tourists all trying to occupy the same few blocks. Medellín Cocktails somehow fits perfectly into that mix. Simple idea. Good food. Cold drinks. Open late. Great energy. Sometimes that’s exactly enough.
