Some of the best sushi in Jacó, tucked on a quieter side street off the busy main road. The fish is genuinely fresh — the ceviche roll and karma roll get singled out — and vegan options are clearly marked, right down to a passion-fruit panna cotta. Regulars remember the chef-bartender who talks you through the menu and makes the room feel welcome.

The best sushi in the neighborhood! Ohana Sushi deserves all 5 stars. The service is great, and the food is absolutely fantastic. A must-visit! We visited twice this place during one week, even my kids were impressed by quality of seafood and how delicious it is))) 👍❤️✨✨✨
The ceviche roll was delicious, but alll the rolls are amazing. Service was great. Food was 10/10. Fish was so fresh. Would go back! Must eat here if You live local or visiting local areas.
This was truly one of the best sushi experiences we’ve ever had—honestly comparable to some of the incredible sushi we’ve had in Japan. Every bite was thoughtful, fresh, and beautifully prepared. What made the experience unforgettable, though, was the bartender/chef. He was incredibly friendly, warm, and genuinely knowledgeable about the food. He took the time to talk with our table and made us feel so welcome—something that isn’t always a given when traveling as tourists. His hospitality completely elevated the night. The vibe of the restaurant was relaxed yet special, and the overall experience has become a core memory for our family. Bringing our 8-year-old to Costa Rica for the first time and sharing a place we truly love made this a highlight of our trip. We will absolutely remember this meal as one of those “this is why we travel” moments. Highly recommend—this place is something special.
