About
Authentic Italian in Jacó that regulars call the best food in town — the truffle mushroom ravioli is the dish people come back for, alongside handmade tagliatelle with porcini, meatballs and fresh-baked focaccia. The Caprese leans on a homemade pesto worth ordering, the house Pinot Grigio holds up, and desserts like the panna cotta finish it right. Attentive service throughout.

We’re so sorry we didn’t discover this delightful restaurant until the last night of our 2 week stay in the Jaco area. The food was just wonderful - best dinner we had in CR. The truffle mushroom ravioli was our favorite, and the house Pino Grigio excellent. Service was very attentive. Highly recommend!
Compared to Inferno, much better pizza, pasta and service is excellent 👌 Update: We went back a week later and got the meatballs with mashed potatoes which were exceptional, We also had the taglitelli with porcini and it was beyond my wildest dreams. I cannot remember the last time I tasted Italy in this fashion. Definitely never had it this good in the States. All I can say is they're pasta is the thing dreams are made of and the meatballs remind me of Nonna's kitchen.... Portions were perfect We left satisfied but not bloated. I can definitely say that as not true of any Italian food we've had in the States. The fresh baked focaccia was overwhelmingly simple and perfect. It reminded me of Sicily. This is now our new favorite restaurant and all of Jaco. Even though we are not really big on Italian food we are hugely big on the simplicity and perfection of each dish. I think we will be here at least two times a week from now until the time we leave. We watch them make a burrata and mortadella with pesto pizza and I think that's the next thing we are going to tackle!
I was so impressed by the authentic Italian food. I tried to dish I never usually would have tried with pesto, almonds, tomatoes and garlic. It was absolutely decadent. We also had the Caprese salad which I would highly recommend with their homemade pesto sauce. The waiter was very helpful and helping me decide which I was very grateful for.
