The food was very flavorful! We had a table of 6, half the table got the red snapper & LOVED it, perfectly cooked, flavored & not ‘fishy’, a nice size for the smaller option! We also had the chicken tacos which came with a nice chunk of avocado & pickled onions. We also had arroz de marisco, it reminded them of a stir fry, but so yummy & I (vegetarian) had veggie quesadillas which were also so yummy with pico de gallo & chopped avocado! The service was great, attentive & friendly. We went after dark too! Still a nice vibe. They have specials as well! I’d def come back again!

🌊 🧂 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Sea Salt Restaurant, located on the property of Hotel Jacó, was an absolute highlight. The food was fresh and delicious, with the mahi-mahi tacos being truly top-notch. The passionfruit cocktails were outstanding and perfectly balanced. The atmosphere is casual and quiet with great views, making it a really enjoyable place to relax and eat. Service was excellent—huge shoutout to Allen, Anthony, and Chelsea for taking such great care of us, and to Bobo the cat for adding extra charm 🐱 They offer great happy hour specials with taco deals, BOGO drinks, and very reasonable prices. A fantastic spot with great food, drinks, and service. Highly recommend!

I’m honestly surprised the ratings are so high. The food was fairly mediocre, especially considering the elevated prices. The restaurant clearly had been short-staffed. I felt for the employees who appeared to be doing their best under the circumstances. The one good thing I can mention is the live band was nice. In hindsight, we likely chose this place primarily for the beach location — and unfortunately, that didn’t translate into the quality we were hoping for.
