Taste of Jaco

We were visiting Jaco from Michigan last week & had booked the Tico Food Tour. Maddy & Bob were our tour guides & they were EXCELLENT! The food was delicious & plentiful, so plan on coming hungry! Besides introducing us to some new Costa Rican dishes, our guides taught us interesting facts about various Jaco restaurants & businesses & gave us many more ideas for exploring the town! I highly recommend this tour to everyone who wants to experience the deliciousness of Costa Rica! We are very much looking forward to our next visit & trying the international food tour & hanging out with one of these amazing men!

HIGHLY recommend!! Taste of Jaco International Food Tour was an absolute highlight of our trip! Matty was a fantastic guide—extremely knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about the local food scene. Each restaurant stop included a delicious plate of food paired with an alcoholic beverage, which made the experience feel generous and well thought out. They also went above and beyond by accommodating our 5-year-old at no extra cost. They included her in the experience and were so sweet and welcoming to her, which truly meant a lot to us. It was so much fun and such a great way to discover and get to know several amazing restaurants in the area. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Jaco who wants great food, great drinks, and a great time! It was worth every penny!

We had a great time as a family doing this tour. Matty was great and accommodating to our needs. He gave us the history of Jaco, great food and drinks and a good time was had by all. I would recommend taking this tour in the beginning of your time in Jaco as there is a lot of great recommendations. Great job Matty!
