Anch'io

We had dinner at Anch’io and it was a pleasant evening. They were open until 10 p.m., which helped since we arrived a bit late, and the staff seated us right away. Service was friendly and fast. We shared a bottle of Cabernet and ordered a mix of pastas and pizza — spaghetti, a vodka-sauce pasta, penne with tomato sauce, and a cheese pizza. The focaccia came on the house - a nice touch. The food came out quickly; a couple of dishes needed a bit of extra salt and pepper, but overall everything was well-prepared. Among the pastas, the spaghetti in pesto sauce was the best, albeit a little dry. Among the meat items, the linguine with shrimp was good. (Please note that they don’t make their own pasta). For dessert, we tried the tiramisu and a brownie with ice cream. Both were good. Kids shared a sparkling lemonade called Fresca. Altogether, it was a nice meal with good service and a comfortable atmosphere. A solid choice for Italian food in La Fortuna.

Absolutely loved this place! From the moment we walked in, the servers and staff were incredibly well-mannered, attentive, and welcoming. The food was AMAZING—every dish was full of flavor and clearly made with care. And the panna cotta… truly to die for. One of the best desserts I’ve had in a long time. We came on a Friday night and there was live music, which made the atmosphere even better—warm, lively, and perfect for a great night out. Overall, fantastic food, great service, and an awesome vibe. Can’t wait to come back!

The service at Anch'io was truly excellent, with the staff being attentive and very friendly throughout our visit. We were delighted by the amazing food, which was prepared with evident care and skill. Each dish we tried was a delicious experience, showcasing fresh ingredients and wonderful flavors. Overall, it was a highly satisfying dining experience that we would gladly repeat. We highly recommend Anch'io for its exceptional food and outstanding service.
