Arenal Private Tours COSTA RICA .

My partner and I booked three total tours with Arenal Private Tours during our stay in La Fortuna - the night tour, combo tour, and sloth tour. We highly recommend this company! Victor, our guide for the night and combo tour, was extremely knowledgeable about the animals around Fortuna as well as the history of the area! It’s clear this company has many great local connections. If you are looking to get the most out of your day, book the combo tour - the farm they take you to is gorgeous and we had possibly the best lunch we’ve had while staying in Costa Rica. After going to the Mystic Hanging Bridges (on the combo tour), it was clear to us that a guide is necessary to get the full experience. Many of the animals can only be seen at a distance and require a trained eye and a spotting scope to observe. It’s remarkable how talented Victor was at spotting birds we never would have seen and a few vipers…. The last thing we’d like to mention is how Victor treats you well! We’ve had tours in the past where the guides are very rushed or lack people skills. Victor is your friend from the start and keeps you engaged without feeling rushed or judged for asking silly questions. We had an experience of a lifetime from morning till night with our private tour. Diego our tour driver beamed with pride and joy for his family homeland Costa Rica. His enthusiasm lasted the whole day long! He wanted us to have a true taste of the country … rain or shine! The food stops were delicious and all tasted like special family recipes .Victor guided us on a tour of the many sights, sounds, sensations and history of La Fortuna!! He is such a masterful guide and has an amazingly deep instinctual knowledge of the flora and fauna in this paradise. He left us in awe of his talent. With both Diego and Victor, we truly felt as though we were being welcomed and introduced to the country as friends of their own family. We feel so lucky to have met them both and will never forget their kind care. All the very best in the future!!

The tour with Victor was amazing, he is very knowledgeable about all of the different areas in Costa Rica, especially Areal region. The tour was fun and we learnt lots of interesting facts about the Areal region and Costa Rica. He was funny and thoughtful about all of us on the tour. We met great people on this tour and our kids loved our guide Victor. We strongly recommend his tour and so glad he was our guide.
