I honestly can’t believe how lucky I was to find this place. From the moment I arrived, Asha Hostel felt like a home away from home. The atmosphere is relaxed, welcoming, and full of great energy the kind of place where you instantly make friends and never want to leave. The common areas are vibrant and fun, perfect for hanging out in the evenings, and the bar area adds such a cool social vibe. It’s an amazing spot to unwind after a day of exploring and meet travelers from all over the world. The rooms were comfortable and cozy, and I slept great every night. Everything felt well taken care of, and you can tell a lot of heart went into creating the space. I also loved seeing the adorable puppies and kitten around they really made the place feel warm and family like. The little market on site was super convenient and had everything I needed without having to go far. Overall, the experience was peaceful, fun, and memorable all at once. If you’re looking for a hostel with great vibes, friendly people, and a unique atmosphere, I highly recommend staying here. I’ll definitely be back!

Stayed here for 2 weeks. Nice location with view to the volcano from the kitchen. To the kitchen: I have never experienced such a well equipped kitchen at a hostel. We always had enough space and also a lot of basic stuff already there to cook. The owner has his pets running around and they really make everyones day. The rooms are also amazing. Big windows and at night time there is fresh air coming in cooling down the room. Every bed also has a small ventilator. Friendly owner and good service. Would definitly come again

We booked one night and ended up staying four nights because we loved the hostel and area so much. There is so much to do and see in the area from hot springs, to hikes, waterfalls, and animal spotting expeditions. It is a great city to stay at to access all the activities nearby with a car. We stayed in the female dorm and had the whole place to ourselves -- because it's around $3 more per night compared to the mixed dorm next door. The beds were large, comfy, and they came with a bed light. Beds had a large cubby near the bed, in addition each bed came with an even larger cubby on the side that could fit two large backpack. If you want to lock your stuff up, they had lockers right outside the room. The room had a small table inside with two chairs, it was a great place to do work privately when we closed the door. We used the kitchen every day to cook breakfast and dinner, the kitchen had burners to cook, a microwave, fridge, freezer, toaster oven, and dishwear to use for meals. The hostel was social, but also quiet. We were able to chat with people in the kitchen and lobby seating area when we wanted to, when it got late around bedtime, it was quiet. The hostel owner is super sweet, he had the cutest tea cup poodle puppy that he let's his guests play with. We enjoyed conversating with him at the hostel and at his restaurant across the street called India (an Indian cuisine restaurant). The meal was super delicious, and he gave us a really good discount on our meal when we ate there since we were staying at the hostel. He also owns the grocery store next door to the hostel so if you need a snack or drink you don't have to go far. Loved this place, I will be back someday for sure.
