The note was so scary! I didn’t see it the first time I withdrew from this machine and I felt so lucky it didn’t swallow my card. The second time I became aware of it and was really nervous but it went fine. You can withdraw colones or USD without any fees. I used my Wealthsimple Mastercard.

Easy atm withdrawal and no fee (unless your bank charges). Used Wise debit card and the atm on the right side (looked newer per other review). Was worried a lot of reviews said the machine took their card. It was all in English so no issues at all.

Sign was still up. Got my card back and was able to withdraw in colones and dollars. No fee with revolut mastercard
