About
A welcoming little coffee stop in La Fortuna that backpackers and passers-by keep rating among the best coffee they found in Costa Rica. The almond latte and the cortadita get specific praise, the chocolate croissant and sweet treats are fresh, and the staff are friendly and fun enough that people plan to come back every day of their stay. An easy, feel-good pick-me-up.

My boyfriend and I are on holiday in La Fortuna and have been travelling around Costa Rica. We were walking along the road with heavy backpacks and saw Brilbean, and it was a great place to rest. This is by far the BEST coffee we have had in Costa Rica (and we have had a lot!). The Almond latte was delicious, and so was the iced tea. The sweet treats were also perfect. We are definitely going to get coffee there on every day we are in La Fortuna. Fabulous service as well, and a really welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended!
If I could give this establishment more stars, I would! The coffee was spectacular and the food was savory and fresh tasting. If you need great coffee and a sweet treat this is the place for you.
Brilbean was an excellent first stop in La Fortuna to get a quick pick-me-up with amazing service and fun atmosphere. The staff were super friendly/fun and let me use their bathroom behind the store. Highly recommend for your first taste of local coffee and sweet treats!
