The coffee is what genuinely stands out here — several travelers call it the best in La Fortuna, with the cortado singled out for praise. It's a local shop with few tourists and sweet baristas. Food and some drinks have been hit-or-miss and service can run slow, so come mainly for a good cup of coffee.

Slow service even with only one other customer there, cold food. They don't seem to be able to do two things at the same time. Basic breakfast took over 35 minutes, two other breakfasts came out 12 minutes apart. Vibe is lacking, just sparse tables on fake grass. Coffee was the one standout item.
This is the best coffee in Fortuna! The breakfast burrito was excellent as well. Local shop with very few tourists.
We stopped in for a coffee to go. The coffee was delicious (an iced vanilla latte), and the barista was very sweet.
