About
Locals and road-trippers stop here for fresh morning coffee and homemade bakery goods — empanadas, ham-and-cheese and pineapple-cheese gratins, and plenty of desserts to work through. Regulars grab a jar of the guava jam to take home. It sits right on the roadside in La Fortuna, and the welcome is genuinely warm and the prices easy.
