About
A spa-and-springs stay just outside La Fortuna: on-site hot springs, pools with a separate hot tub, and a spa guests call relaxing, professional and reasonably priced. The buffet breakfast leans into fresh fruit, omelets and traditional Costa Rican dishes, and the back trail along the creek turns up frogs, birds and a sloth. It's a short, cheap Uber from town; WiFi is spotty away from the lobby and pool.

Casa Luna Hotel & Spa is a peaceful paradise tucked into nature. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcomed and taken care of. The grounds are beautiful, surrounded by lush greenery, wildlife, and a relaxing atmosphere that instantly helps you slow down and enjoy the moment. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and cozy, and the entire property feels intimate and well maintained. The spa experience was incredible — relaxing, professional, and the perfect way to unwind after days of exploring La Fortuna. The hot springs and pools are a huge plus and make the stay even more special. If you’re looking for a quiet, romantic, and authentic Costa Rica experience, Casa Luna is an excellent choice. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it.
Everything here was wonderful. The staff is so accommodating and nice, the food is amazing, the grounds are beautiful, the rooms very clean and extremely comfortable. Love the pool area with separate hot tub. Cutest little elephant towel display when we got into the room, just beautiful details here that the staff went above a beyond to do.
Our family of 3 enjoyed our 4 night stay at the end of October. We had a standard room which was nice, clean, had a side view of the volcano. The buffet breakfast was delicious, lots of options of fruit, omelets and traditional CR food. The trail at the back of the property was a nice walk by the creek, lots of frogs, birds, lizards and a sloth to see. The spa was very reasonable and a highlight relaxing while listening to the sounds of the forest and creek.
