Chipotle Tex mex

It was fine but heavy. Both my husband and I didn't feel well the day after. I asked for my nachos to have just cheese but the server came back and said they had to have beef or chicken?? The bar guy brought what I guess was his gf in and they made out at the counter a few feet from us which kinda killed the atmosphere. More expensive than we would have thought. Server was super friendly and the portions were a good size.

My vegan meal (Saltado con tofu) was really good! I’m impressed and appreciative when a restaurant puts effort into their vegan options. Others at the table really enjoyed their tacos al pastor and birria tacos as well. Even my son’s chicken tenders were top notch!

I stopped in here for a quick drink and a snack while walking around downtown La Fortuna. I had the guacamole and a strawberry daiquiri and my SO had coffee. Everything was delicious! And after looking at the reviews, I’m definitely going back for the churros. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere was clean and festive. I always try to include photos of the menu. Apologies for any glare.
