Costa Rica Tours adventure and Nature

We did the all day combo tour that included the hanging bridges, volcano hike, la Fortuna waterfall, and hot springs. There guides Rene and Alex were exceptional! Very knowledgeable, personable, and kind. Things we wished we knew beforehand: The hike on the website advertised “8 hours” it was more like 11 hours. You will do 20,000 steps on this tour. Some of the hikes were on the more difficult side, specifically the waterfall hike which is over 500 steps to go down, then back up, after already hiking the hanging bridges and volcano hike. Bring snacks as the lunch was not available until about 130 pm and the trip started at 730am. Bring a reusable water bottle, plastic is not allowed. On the hanging bridges hike the guides will have telescopes so you can see wildlife up close! The hot springs is at an established place with pools, not in a natural setting. However, still a nice place! Overall we loved this tour and got everything packed into one day!!

You can really tell he loves what he does. Since it was just me and my partner, it felt like we had a private, personalized experience, which made it even more special. Just got back from an unforgettable trip to Costa Rica, and spending time in the rainforest was truly inspiring. Rafael helped manage our entire trip from the moment we arrived to the moment we left, from hikes in the rainforest where was saw monkeys swinging on trees, to white water rafting for the first time on the rivers, and zip lining in the sky. Absolutely unforgettable for my teen girls especially, a learning experience of kindness from an amazing culture to being embraced by nature. We cannot thank Rafael enough for the amazing itinerary, availability throughout our entire trip, the sloth tour he gave us, and his wonderful wife Eve for safely driving us from San Jose to La Fortuna and back.
