About
A coffee-and-chocolate tour where the hands-on part is the hook—you grind and shape a chocolate bar from scratch, taste it fresh, then move on to coffee, learning the whole growing-to-cup process. Guides like Sergio, Jose, and Gigi keep small groups engaged and often spot a sloth in the property's trees, with a volcano view and a well-priced gift shop at the end. Low-key, not commercialized.

Sergio was a fantastic tour guide! We got to see some sloths right off the bat, which was such a cool experience. The cacao and coffee portions of the tour were wonderful, especially getting to make chocolate from scratch with our own hands. The chocolate we tasted at the end was absolutely delicious, and we walked away having learned so much about Costa Rican culture. Highly recommend!
Jose gave us an incredible experience. It’s my 15 year old son’s favorite activity so far. You spend the first half learning about the process of growing and making chocolate, then you get to make your own bar. The second half is focused on coffee and you get to sample some at the end. Love the appreciation for the ecosystem and local sustainability. The gift shop was excellent at the end. Highly recommend.
This was a great tour! We did the chocolate and night tour together which was incredible. Gigi was our guide and he was SO knowledgeable on the nocturnal animals! It was amazing to see how quickly he found creatures high and low because of how experienced he was. He was very personable and never rushed our small group. The coffee and chocolate are amazing. Beautiful grounds and incredible, hard working staff. Pura Vida!
