About
One of La Fortuna's long-standing fine-dining rooms — a handsome space with service travelers consistently praise, busy enough that a reservation helps. The kitchen shows ambition: a tenderloin cooked to order, trout dip and croquettes, short-rib raviolis. Opinions split on whether the food matches the prices, so go for a special-occasion evening rather than a bargain.

It was a busy place for sure. We arrived at 5:20 pm and had no reservation so only bar area was available. The service was excellent. We had the Grandma's chicken and the shrimp pasta, unique favorite and we like them but not to the excellent level yet. Based on the price, we were hoping for some different experience.
The vibes are good, but please, save your coin and go somewhere else if you want good food. You’ll probably be happier if you just went to any of the sodas nearby. We went for a birthday dinner and didn’t even stay for the dessert because the food was incredibly disappointing, especially for the crazy prices we paid.
Service was good. Place was really nice for the location. However, food was a bit hit or miss. Short beef raviolis were tasty. Fish fillet and grilled octopus were okay. Appetizers were decent. Creativity was on display but not everything worked well together.
