About
Locals describe it as fine dining without the ego or the price tag — a stylish room with attentive service and a kitchen that asks how you want your tuna cooked. The seared tuna, lomo saltado, and passion-fruit cheesecake come up again and again, along with fresh-mint mojitos and a piña colada that tastes actually blended. Plenty of vegetarian and vegan options.

This restaurant was right down the road from where we were staying in La Fortuna. Hands down the best meal we had there! I had the tuna poke bowl. Normally I get my tuna uncooked, but at the waiter’s offer, I decided to get it seared and it was so delicious! Everything tasted so fresh. My husband had the Lomo saltado with plantains - also so good! The servers were patient and attentive. We loved the ambience & appreciated how may options they had for different diets & food sensitivities/allergies. Would absolutely return!
This is fine dining without the ego and price tag of fine dining. Beautiful atmosphere, amazing service that makes you feel special, and of course delicious flavors presented with care and intentionality. I would definitely be back if I was staying later. Seared Tuna for appetizer, grilled salmon with shrimp sauce for entree, passion fruit cheesecake for dessert and Pina colada drink all for $55. (Amazing pina colada that feels like someone actually blended it with fresh ingredients vs juice mix) I came in for lunch/dinner around 5pm and there were lots of seating available, but I understand it gets full for dinner. I had a pina colafa
Fantastic food, great cocktails, and an atmosphere that truly stands out We had two cocktails and two burgers — the beef burger and the tuna burger — and both were absolutely excellent and very filling. The flavors were well balanced, beautifully presented, and clearly prepared with care; the potato wedges could have been a bit crispier, but were still enjoyable. The menu is impressively diverse, and everything coming out of the kitchen looked first-class. We especially loved being asked how we wanted the meat and tuna cooked — a detail that shows real professionalism. The cocktails were crafted with passion and looked just as good as they tasted. What truly elevated the experience, though, was the exceptionally attentive and friendly staff — from the bartender to the bar team and service staff. Their warmth and attentiveness added a lot to the overall experience. Combined with the stylish décor, warm lighting, and relaxed yet refined atmosphere, this place is a real highlight. Highly recommended.
