Finca Educativa Don Juan

This is such a gorgeous organic farm. We stopped by looking for breakfast and though they were not really open yet they made us the most delicious breakfast and then Natasha took us on a tour of the place. We got to dork out over plants and fruits and their medicinal uses and learned all kinds of things about sustainable farming and ecology in Costa Rica. The cocoa part is totally fascinating. Actually had no idea it’s such a delicious fruit. This was one of the coolest this we did in CR. Big shout out to Natasha for taking the time and sharing her enthusiasm with us!!

True farm to table experience. Recycled furniture, lunch by the lake, delicious food, amazing hospitality by Don Juan and his lovely staff. Yuca, eggplant, 🍠 ,papaya root with potatoes was my favorite although the first time. Pineapple and carrot dressing was also a must try. Rest everything was also very delicious, Thank you Don Juan and staff for the lovely experience.

We just stopped by because we were in the area and we are so glad we did! Vanessa showed us around the farm and she was really knowledgeable. Definitely worth the visit!
