Put simply, the staff at this wonderful centre saved my wife's life. I took her there as her tummy-bug wasn't getting better, only for an excellent doctor to diagnose the requirement for surgery and an ambulance transfer to San Jose to facilitate it. Once there, a cancerous tumour was removed from her. Without the assistance, professionalism & attention to detail, we believe we would be looking at a more sinister outcome. They were on-point and I couldn't recommend them all enough. We will always be grateful to these wonderful human beings.

I recently needed medical attention while staying at a hotel near Arenal Volcano, and Fortuna Medical Center provided truly outstanding care. After the hotel connected us with their team, a doctor and an assistant arrived at my room in about an hour. They conducted a thorough evaluation, reviewed the medical information I had with me, administered appropriate treatment on-site, and arranged for a prescription to be delivered directly to the hotel shortly afterward. They spent over an hour with me, were patient, compassionate, and highly professional, and followed up multiple times to ensure I was recovering well. The entire process—from the house call to the treatment to the medication delivery—was seamless, efficient, and handled with genuine care. I was also able to pay for everything easily in one consolidated bill. I am deeply grateful for the exceptional service I received from Fortuna Medical Center.

I had a bad fall & needed an assessment & an Xray whilst on day 1 of my holiday. I WhatsApp the clinic at 11pm & instantly received advice. 8am the next morning I saw the doctor who confirmed 3 fractures requiring surgery. The wonderful Drta Karen arranged transfer & surgery the next day & delt with the insurance company. To my surprise she accompanied me to the hospital the next day via ambulance 3 hours away. She translated for me & even came to the medical ward - waited for my surgery & returned me to my hotel at midnight. I was overwhelmed with the Fortuna Medical Clinic staff & service.
