About
Newer, design-minded rooms with volcano views, big balconies and oversized bathrooms full of windows, guests describe it as showering in the jungle. The team, Alfonso among them, is quick to help with shuttles and recommendations, and keypad access makes coming and going easy. It's quiet but only about three minutes from downtown La Fortuna. Two honest notes: breakfast is basic (served at a neighboring eco-resort) and the pool is small.

My trip to La Fortuna, Costa Rica was totally unplanned. I booked everything last minute and didn’t do any research. I just loved how aesthetic the hotel looked and the volcano view. I was surprised to learn that La Fortuna is about 3.5 hours from San José Airport, but the hotel helped me book a shuttle right away — they were very responsive and helpful. When I arrived, Alfonso welcomed me and helped carry my bags. He confirmed I had a panoramic view room (which was accurate!), explained what to expect, and recommended restaurants and a spa — I followed his advice and loved it. The room was clean, housekeeping came every day, and the bathroom was well lit with warm water. The balcony was huge — honestly, it made me want to just stay at the hotel and relax. Everything was close by: activities, restaurants, and downtown La Fortuna were only about 3 minutes away. Uber rides were around $5 each. Overall, it was convenient, comfortable, and beautiful. I will definitely come back. 🌋✨
Rented a bungalow here for my honeymoon. We had a great time service was friendly and rooms were clean and felt very private. We felt like it was the perfect distance from town where it was quiet but still super easy to call ubers/walk. If we had one knock it would be that the breakfast was pretty basic compared to our experience at other resorts in the country. As a side we would recommend booking a North Fields Coffee tour down the road.
Great hotel, very clean and cozy. The team is very welcoming and supporting with anything and super attitude and smiling…:)🫶 The rooms are just great, comfortable and welcoming. All access to the parking rooms and the hotel entrance is with codes and very easy to use. There is a common area with full kitchen equipment and some board games - excellent arrangement. For sure will come back if will be in La Fortuna again🫶 The video was done from second floor balcony room.
