About
A restaurant that plates and serves like fine dining, with a kitchen that puts real work into how a dish looks. Travelers single out the octopus, the fresh marlin ceviche, and the tuna tartar, and there's a play area that makes it work for families. Prices sit on the high side and the cocktails can run weak, so it's more about the food than the bar.

Great service and good food, but extremely overpriced. The marlin ceviche was very fresh, the steak was cooked perfectly (the so called risotto was terrible!), and the octopus was one of the best I’ve ever had. My mezalita was super weak! Next to no alcohol. If it weren’t so expensive, I’d recommend giving it a try. That said, the service did feel almost like fine dining white table service.
Definitely recommend. They have great food option & staff is amazing. They put alot of work on the look of the plate. Ordered the grilled chicken it was very tender not dry at all.
Had a great meal at Herbario! Service was top notch and everything tasted fresh. We had the Patacones and Tuna Tartar to start and Surf & Turf and Salmon for our meal. Highly recommend checking out while in La Fortuna!
