About
The one bar in La Fortuna set up for hookah, tucked in the leafy backyard of Asha Hostel — walk right through the hostel to reach it. Trees and plants, music, and low-key vibes make it a spot to settle in with friends and a drink. Service can be hit-or-miss depending on who's behind the bar.

This is the best bar in La Fortuna!! Beautiful atmosphere with trees and plants everywhere. Only bar in La Fortuna that has Hookah’s!!! Music is playing and the vibes are great!! Great place to chill and grab some drinks and relax with friends!! I definitely recommend!
Underrated, best location, very chilly-cozy in the Backyard of the Asha Hostel (just Walk right trough the Hostel)
We had the weirdest encounter at this Hookah Bar. We saw the sign from the street so decided to give it a try. We walk in and sit at the bar. There was only 2 other guys sitting at the bar already smoking hookah. There was a Indian guy and an expat behind the bar. The expat appeared to be staying at the hostel and just working for his stay. Seemed to be high on drugs. The Indian guy ask us if we wanted Hookah and we replied yes and asked what flavors are available. He gave us a Hookah menu. He also asked if we would be having drinks. We asked him what drinks were part of the sign promo behind the bar that said "Buy 1 drink get 2nd drink free" he looks back at the sign like he never seen it before. Then grabs it and says its no longer valid and puts the sign away. The expat never made eye contact with us the entire time we are there. We look at the menu. While the expat was directly in front of us heating up coal. I told him we would take lemon mint for our hookah. Still not acknowledging us or making eye contact. He grabs lemon mint and starts to prep the Hookah. 5 mins later he puts the Hookah together. Then walks it over to a table of guys that appeared to have came downstairs from staying at the hostel. He then comes back to the bar and starts talking to 2 other expat sitting at the bar already smoking and drinking. We sit and wait just to see how long he would ignore us. The Indian guy has disappeared at this point and 30 minutes go by. After we saw that the expat wasnt going to acknowledge us or serve us. We got up and walked out. Of course he didnt say one word or even acknowledge that we were leaving. Im assuming they probably have a new hostel guest working the bar each night based on their stay duration or how many expats are there. But this is not the place for u if you are expecting good service. Unless u r an expat or staying at the hostel. Im sure u will receive better treatment. Its so funny because we had planned on spending a $100 to try out all the flavors and do a review for our 2.5 million followers but I guess it wasn't meant to be. If u want to be ignored and sit at a bar and feel like a ghost and never be served or waited on. This is the spot for u.
