Hotel Las Orquideas

Great little place, I'm staying there now. As described, nice property and great gardens, many pools and jacuzzi. The on-site restaurant is good, not too expensive and with a decent variety of food. Breakfast is decent with 3 options: local, American and pancakes with fruit. Ok size, normal, not American huge portion. One complain, the rooms should have a closet and hangers, the washroom should have a couple hooks for towels and a toilet paper holder. Beds are a little too hard for me. They are not American queen, is a double typical of central America. I would recommend this place, is really nice.

The property is beautiful and the jungle walkways from where your room is to the pool and restaurant are beautiful, such well-kept gardens and walkways. The free breakfast was great too and the staff and service were great. The room was cleaned every day, and the facilities were great too. Wi-Fi is good at the restaurant! :) I was very impressed with the pool area; it was even better than the pictures show. The bed was very firm. a little to firm for my liking but that is just a preference. The Wi-Fi in the room was not great; it kept disconnecting and dropping which was a little frustrating at times. Overall, an amazing experience though and I would definitely stay again, the value for money was great.

We arrived at the hotel in the evening and were welcomed with exceptional warmth and kindness by the receptionist. She showed us around the property and personally guided us to our room. The rooms were incredibly clean, tidy, and very cozy. The entire property is absolutely beautiful – lush, green, and full of variety. There are wonderful pools, vibrant plants everywhere, and from time to time you can even spot animals moving through the trees. The area is also full of different birds, which makes every walk through the grounds feel like a peaceful stroll through the jungle itself. From here you also have a stunning view of the volcano, which makes the whole experience even more magical. The hotel manager takes care of every concern personally. He is extremely friendly, dedicated, and makes you feel truly valued and taken seriously. It genuinely feels like someone is looking out for you at all times. Breakfast was delicious, varied, and beautifully prepared. The staff were consistently friendly and attentive, always making sure that everything was perfect and asking whether we needed anything. We were completely satisfied — nothing was missing. We honestly wish that every guest visiting La Fortuna would come here and experience this place of peace and relaxation. It truly feels like home in another country. Highly recommended in every way!
