A takeaway spot run by an owner travelers can't stop praising — he makes everything fresh in front of you, preps his empanadas each morning, and will build almost anything you ask for, down to a típico breakfast in a burrito. Portions are huge, prices are low, and his homemade hot sauce is the thing people remember.

Best food during my 1 week in Costa Rica so far. The food was so tasty. And the owner was incredibly nice, friendly and the service was amazing. He was so thoughtful that he prepared hot sauce on the side just based on tourist preferences. The owner so clearly loves his job.
Good food and excellent service! Portions are huge and prices low. Meat quesadilla & loaded fries with chicken were both very tasty: juicy meat & a lot of cheese 😋
Absolutely delicious food and amazingly kind owner! He’s willing to make anything you can for if he has the ingredients. We suggested a typico breakfast in a burrito and they turned out amazing. His hot sauce is even better! You must stop her if you’re in town! Very reasonably priced as well.
