About
Book a guide here and you'll see the Costa Rica you'd walk right past on your own. Travelers rave about the night tours and the Mistico hanging bridges, where guides like Daniel and Julian pull out a scope to reveal sloths, snakes, frogs and toucans, and quietly snap photos of your group. Parents mention again and again how good they are with kids.

Our group of 4 recently did a guided hike near Arenal volcano with Daniel. We hiked the Mirador el Silencio trail. We had a great time! It was one of the highlights of our trip. Daniel was extremely knowledgeable, taught us about the history and geology of the area, and pointed out a lot of wildlife and plants that we would have missed if we were on our own, including a sloth! He also brought a scope so we could see things that were farther away, and took great photos of our group (and the sloth). I wish we had the time to do the night tour as well- it sounds like another great experience from other reviews! Highly recommend Daniel and La Fortuna Explorers!!
We used this group of four tour of Mistico hanging bridges. Julian was an amazing tour guide, and also great with our kids. If you're doing the hanging bridges, use a guide. We would have not seen half as much wildlife without him.
We had the BEST experience on our night tour in La Fortuna! 🌿✨ Our guide, Danny, was absolutely incredible—so knowledgeable, interactive, and amazing with kids. He went above and beyond, even taking tons of pictures for my daughter on her Kindle (which ended up being her favorite part of the whole trip!). We spotted snakes, frogs, insects, and so much more, and came away with incredible photos and unforgettable memories. Highly recommend this tour
