La Fortuna Living - Room

Beautiful views of the Arenal. The room was very nice and walking distance from the town! Perfect location & great hosts!

Really nice hosts!! Very good English and pleasant conversations. The room is a completely new build, very clean and by far the best bed we've tried in Costa Rica (almost better than our bed at home!). There is TV with Netflix and everything - it's a smart/Google TV and we could connect our phone to play our own movies. The place was large and easily fit 4 people (though the couch and table set was only for 2 people). It was a bit strange with no window in the bedroom, but to be honest we slept to 9am because it was dark and that's a first in more than a week, so that was actually quite nice. The kitchen only have a microwave and you can't proper cool there. To us the place was very quiet, it's a bit away from the main road which was nice! There's a gate to the property and you can park your car safely. Amazing beautiful view to the volcano just from the "backyard" (and soon to be terasse which was being build when we were there - the host was very sensitive to our needs in terms of no noise from the builders in the morning). Suggestions for betterments: - A softer light/lamps in the living room and bed room. - A small cooking stove and pots and pans for cooking. - The shower was insanely hot (unsure if we could adjust), so allowing for cooler showers. - Small table set outside the room for enjoying the evening.
