A budget-friendly grocery stop in La Fortuna where the prices genuinely beat most other stores in town, and self-checkout has an English option. The catch is the front end: shoppers report long lines when only one register is open, so it's best when you're not in a rush. Good for stocking up without overpaying.

Good selection of products, there is no dark beer.
The prices are better here than most other grocery stores. Unfortunately the one female checkout staff had a terrible attitude. We tried to return some beer bottles and it caused a line up of at least 19 people. As a Canadian, she would/should not last one shift with the snapping of the gum and rude pointing. The family in front of us had children's toys she dropped. SHOW SOME RESPECT.
Good variety and prices. Self checkout has English but you still need to search fruits and vegetables in Spanish
