Great place to come for a casual bite to eat at very affordable prices, with a variety of options, including burgers, sushi, tacos, ice cream, and a cocktail bar. We chose to grab tacos from the taco 'truck'/school bus, which was a cool design. The tacos were so good, especially the beef tacos in the crunchy shells, which come with an amazing broth to dip them in, which we loved. The fish tacos and pork with pineapple tacos were also excellent! Really recommend this place if you're looking for great food in a casual place at great prices!

Pura Vida flavor on full display! 🌋@mercaditoarenal 🍴If you can’t decide what’s for dinner, Mercadito Arenal is the ultimate foodie playground in La Fortuna. We’re currently fueling up with a spread that hits every craving: juicy birria tacos from Mexikah, expertly rolled sushi from Sensei Sushi, and some serious magic in a glass from Voodoo Mixology Bar. Fun Fact: This vibrant open-air hub actually offers one of the best "dinner with a view" spots in town—you can catch a stunning glimpse of the Arenal Volcano right from the food court while you eat! 🍹✨ Whether you're here for the live music on Friday nights or just a casual post-hike feast, this is the vibe you need. 🇨🇷🙌 #CostaRica #PuraVida #VisitCostaRica #TravelCostaRica #LaFortuna 📷 @StayserEats

Fun street food hall with about half a dozen vendors. The churros place was mediocre at best, but the taco van and "Voodo" bar serving large, delicious themed drinks was excellent. Nice, relaxed atmosphere, good food, good service and better food (and better prices) than at some of the nearby upmarket restaurants geared at tourists. There is also wifi available but as with many venues in Costa Rica, you'll need to politely request access from a member of floor staff.
