About
A central La Fortuna spot that shines at breakfast — tender pancakes, a mini típico with gallo pinto shaped like a volcano, and one of the better café chorreados (traditional drip coffee) in a country full of good coffee. The piña con albahaca gets called the best on some travelers' whole trip. Friendly, English-speaking staff and quick service.

A group of us had lunch together at this restaurant yesterday and had a very good experience. There were 17 of us so a challenge for the kitchen! It’s located in one of the main streets in La Fortuna not far from the main square and church. The menu is quite varied and provided a challenge of what to choose! In the end I had the hamburger and my wife the chicken and rice special. The hamburger was great with a lot of toppings. My wife enjoyed here dish which was served with beans and salad too. Staff were friendly and spoke good English. Food came relatively quickly considering the size of the order.
Lovely little restaurant in town! Delicious food and drinks. This spot made the best piña con albahaca of all the ones I had on my trip! Lots of great breakfast options and they make delicious pancakes!
Costa Rica has great coffee almost everywhere. But this is a notable mention for one of the best coffee chorreado ( drip coffee) . I also ordered an empanada which was so yummy. We tried the one with beef and it was lip smacking good. Kids had the hot chocolate which was too cute.
