Red Frog Coffee Roaster was an excellent find. The food was delicious, very filling, and generously portioned — especially considering how reasonable the prices are. The quality you receive for the cost truly stands out. The service was friendly and efficient, and everything was prepared quickly without sacrificing flavor. The coffee was amazing, and the natural fresh juices were just as impressive. It was so good that I came back the very next day. I also loved that they have a small shop inside the restaurant with souvenirs and useful items for travelers. It’s such a thoughtful touch and very convenient for guests during their trip. Overall, I would gladly return. Highly recommended for great food, excellent coffee, and a welcoming atmosphere.

I’ll be honest, I was starting to lose hope finding good food in La Fortuna, but this spot changed that fast. Their gallo pinto was easily the best we’ve had here. The sweet plantains were perfect, and the beef sausage, hashbrown, and eggs hit the spot. The burrito was just okay for me (5/10), but everything else made up for it. The place looks like it’s geared toward tourists, so I was skeptical, but the food actually lived up to the hype. The fresh-brewed coffee was great and the fruit juice was super fresh too. Definitely worth stopping by.

I stopped by Red Frog Coffee Roasters recently and was blown away. The atmosphere is great, but the highlight for me was definitely the drip coffee—honestly some of the best I've had. The food was delicious as well. On top of that, the staff provided excellent attention and made us feel very welcome. I'll definitely be coming back.
