We stopped here with a tour provided by Green Vacations tour for lunch. We were served a traditional Costa Rican Casado meal. I opted for the one with chicken and cooked onions. What can I say - the food was delicious. The place is small and simple, but with friendly staff and hearty traditional food. Everything was just yum - I cleaned my plate in no breath, same as all other people in the tour group. They have a traditional souce on each table - very hot and spicy, people loved it very much as well.
Super tasty! We had the pastas and they made special chicken soup for us because one member was not feeling well. The food is good and the service is sweet and fast
We stopped here with a tour group for lunch (Green Vacations tour). A classic Costa Rican Casado meal. Before we arrived we gave our guide our choice of proteins: chicken, pork, beef, or fish (tilapia fillet), all with or without onion. I opted for pork with onions and I'm so glad I did. Proud member of the clean plate club. The pork was crispy, succulent, and deliciously salty. The plate also included rice, beans, onions, mixed vegetables, mashed potatoes (well flavored and garlically), salad, and fried plantains. 🤌*Chef's kiss*! When everyone was eating, there was silence amongst the 13 of us. Always a sign of good food! The restaurant also provided us with mixed fruit juices of mango and watermelon varieties. This is the type of place where you'll get authentically fresh local cuisine.
