10000/10. Quite frankly, some of the best Indian food I’ve had. With no Indian grocery in town, I was so curious how such great food is made, and was told that the ingredients stem from the US, into Panama, then into Costa Rica and onto your plate. We ordered Cheese Naan, Raitha, lamb biryani, paneer butter masala, and not just one but TWO rounds of the lamb chops. My husband was blown away by the lamb chops here and said he’s never had its equal. Everything was so flavorful. This place is a true GEM tucked away in La Fortuna. We have been staying at Nayara Resorts and this was the best meal we’ve had in Costa Rica so far. The flavor of the food was rich and robust. Service was lovely. My husband and I live in NY and we are so sad that we won’t get to have this food, especially the lamb chops again… at least not until we return to Costa Rica. Pura Vida!

We arrived from San José late in the evening and stopped at the supermarket in downtown La Fortuna to pick up groceries before checking into our Airbnb. Right next to the store, we noticed this Indian restaurant and decided to do a quick carry-out instead of sitting down. The owner was warm and helpful, and the ordering process was easy. We picked up four dishes — Paneer Makhni, Dal Makhni, Aloo Gobi, and Chana — along with rice, garlic naan, and chili-garlic naan. The Aloo Gobi and Chana tasted homemade and had no cream, which I appreciated. Both the Paneer dish and Dal Makhni were on the creamy side, but still comforting after a long travel day. Everything packed well, and the food held up perfectly by the time we reached our Airbnb. The restaurant gave us paper plates, which made dinner simple and cleanup-free. We honestly didn’t expect to find Indian food in La Fortuna, so discovering this spot right next to the supermarket was a pleasant surprise — especially late at night after hours of driving. If you’re looking for an easy takeout option that travels well, this place is a solid choice

We ordered Indian chai, Lamb coconut curry and chicken tikka. Everything was delicious, close to what we make at home and eat. You need to order rice seperately( For Europeans this might be new as we get rice with curry so please order rice seperate) ambience was great, food is amazing. High recommend, will visit again if we visit La Fortuna.
