A small corner shop for cooling off in the La Fortuna heat: granizados, fresh-fruit smoothies, and strawberry ice cream laced with sweetened condensed milk all get called delicious. The owner is happy and generous — letting people sample flavors and often playing music — and prices run cheaper than nearby shops. Servings are generous; just know cones can be hit or miss.

Granizados are something you need to try in Costa Rica if you haven't. Everything we got at this shop was delicious. Strawberry ice cream laced with sweetened condensed milk was awesome. Highly recommend.
Great smoothies. Very friendly service. Was practicing my Spanish but he speaks fluent English. The smoothies were fresh and delicious! Pura Vida
We stopped here for dessert and are so happy we did. The Special was amazing and the fruits in it were SO fresh. The gentleman working was lovely and helpful and our serving size was massive.
